My name is Ryan Benson. I own The Flooring Folks, and I've been installing floors for the last 17 years. Over that time I've installed hundreds of thousands of square feet of flooring — hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl plank, you name it. I've seen most situations a floor can throw at you.

Over the years I've worked across the country — Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona, and Alabama — in homes of every size and budget. That range taught me something important: the biggest factor in a successful flooring project isn't the material, the installer, or even the budget.

It's the information the homeowner has before the job starts.
